Description

🟧 Product Overview

304L Stainless Steel Pipe is the low‑carbon variant of 304 stainless steel, with a maximum carbon content of 0.03%. This reduced carbon level significantly enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding, making 304L ideal for applications involving heavy welding, pressure systems, and corrosive environments.

304L maintains nearly identical corrosion resistance and mechanical performance to 304, while offering superior weldability and reduced risk of carbide precipitation.

Key Advantages:

  • Low carbon content prevents carbide precipitation during welding
  • Excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion
  • Suitable for pressure vessels and welded piping systems
  • Good general corrosion resistance in many industrial environments
  • Available in seamless and welded forms with multiple finishes
